About Mike Foley

I am a retired geologist / geophysicist who spent his career doing exploration in basins around the globe. In 2019 I started a new chapter, devoting myself to volunteerism: focusing on stewardship of our planet, being kind, helping those who need a hand up, teaching students about the Great Lakes, adding to the ecological knowledge of my chosen home, learning about so many things, and trying my utmost to make the planet a better place for those who follow.
