FOSS and Linux enthusiast, sysadmin, software engineer, Buddhist, recreational powerlifter, bird lover, folk/blues (mostly) guitarist. Born and raised in Britain, son-in-law of Taiwan 🇹🇼, resident of California.

Formerly a doctoral student in Buddhist philosophy and languages (@ Stanford) and post-grad in philosophy of science (in the UK).

Currently a Research Developer @ Stanford's Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Research (CIDR). Also Infrastructure @ ADHO (+ other things).
